Then, thread each folded currency bill through the punched holes in the cardstock strips. 4. Add Decorative Accents

Then, glue the patterned paper onto the decorative shape to finish it off.

5. Attach a Closure and Display the Lei!

Once the patterned paper is attached, tie the lei at the end with a ribbon or string. Finally, securely attach a clasp or a pin to the back of the lei so that it can easily be worn. And there you have it! You have now successfully created a bow-tie money lei!
